Not
only were we celebrating our special birthday but we raised an all
time record amount of money £4,003!
It was another amazing day, sunshine and downpour, it all adds to
the drama and the Duck Wardens didn't care, they were wet anyway.
The Duck Wardens are wonderful and we just want to thank them for
once again being mad, brave, and stupid enough to jump into the
water of Leith to entertain us all. There were some pretty good
outfits going on as well, a couple of our girls really raised a
smile or two!
Despite the recession we were still given 118 prizes and we want
to thank everyone who was kind enough to give their support. Our
duck sellers were really good this year with nearly all of them
selling out, thanks to them and all of you for buying ducks. Once
again Lycett Insurance Brokers gave us our insurance and Newton
Investment Management gave a very generous cheque, thanks to both
of them.
The Antiquary Bar were our t-shirt sponsors and party hosts this
year, many thanks to Andy, Avril, Elaine and all the rest of the

A special thanks must go to Aldona Juska www.pinksporran.com
for coming up with the idea for the jewellery which raised a huge
amount of money, the silver pendants were sold out very quickly
and are a lovely keepsake.
The Bailie Bar are always a huge support to us and we really want
to thank Angus, Debz, Rachael, Carol and all of the others who continue
to find prizes, sell a huge amount of ducks, give a home to the
ducks, and serve us drink.
Oh well, another year done, it was great.......................roll
on the next one!
